1) easy carbon copies
2) Can sprocketed continuous paper
I still use the dot matrix for printing labels (1 wide)
It is pretty good for long runs.
Also continuous feed paper is pretty cheap - and I have a vast stock
....
Inking is cheaper - and works pretty well even when faint.
Price per copy is very much less than laser/inkjet and one does not want
beautiful printing all the time.
My dot matrix is also 100% reliable. Who can say that about inkjets and
laser?
