I don't wish to get directly involved with this as I don't know enough
on the subject, but Filters (and the ease with which they may be
written in SBASIC) sounds like a subject we ought to be covering in QL
Today and Quanta newsletter. Anyone fancy writing a short piece on the
subject?

You may remember a brief discussion on 'WHEN variable' structures a
few weeks ago on this list - we will have a short article on this
rarely used feature of QDOS in a forthcoming QL Today, a useful little
spin-off from subjects discussed almost in passing here!
