It was a long time ago and Tarquin remembers better than I - although he
was nearly in nappies then (8-)#
Yes - Sinclair designed the system around 32K internal ROM, with 32k
external ROM in 2 x 16k eproms
His eprom card had two chip slots.
His dongle used the third 16k slot, and left one free.
He never managed to squeeze into 32k, so 'normal' Ql production had 48k
internal rom, and 16k ROM slot.
