Rick Dennis Briggs tried to get the Quanta committee interested in his idea for a QL scanner using a modified printer way back in the early 1990's. Scanners then were very expensive but as the QL had very poor graphics in those days it didn't take off. The Nottingham group considered it too but as it meant destroying an expensive printer, the idea was dropped. Have you any idea who made yours?
