Yes, that is a good idea and a longterm resident of my mental todo list. I have
done some work on the CPlot... stuff yesterday to add an icon area for special
tags like waypoints. I think I am mostly done with the plot suff. Thus if you
say you want to add zoom, I will not touch anything in CPlot... until you say
you are done.

Some issues on my written todo lis:

* Select trackpoints of a track by rectangle or ploygon on the map. This is an
extra function on the "Track..." menu. In this mode the user can define an area
and all track points within the area are selected. Multiple areas are additive.

* Add a "Purge" button to the CTrackEditWidget as most user don't get it to use
the "del" key

* Fix map creation from OSM and make a real thing of the dialog.

* Icons, icons, icons... for the waypoints.

* And, yes, the king task: Port Garmin map code from QLandkarte to QLandkarte
GT.

Else there are many glitches in the userinterface that are kind of annoying or
simply impossible to understand for a normal user. As main developer I am kind
of blind for those things.

Yes, a very bad habit of mine :) I promise to do better in future. Most commits
are to sync between the various computers I develop on. They contain compilable
but half working code. But as more people work on GT a propper comment is
important.

Thanks for help

Oliver
