Hi Andrew, ok, I have committed some stuff. I have added the most important functions to the lefthand menu. I still have to decide about the icons.
And I test for the track pointer at double click. That made a segfault without track :). And there is a transformation issue if you load some tracks. The map is not on the grid but right in between. Fabrice claimed he know why but after I asked he said he did not investigate further. Thus it's still open. I did some minor changes to CMapDEM to generalize DEM overlay for all kinds of maps. You can do contour shading on vector maps, now, useing the context menu of the map toolview to attach a DEM file to a map. A big collection of free DEM data is at http://www.viewfinderpanoramas.org/dem3.html. Another fine gadget is to overlay raster maps with vector maps. By that you can verify scanned and referenced paper maps with OSM data. Btw your little advertisement in that russian forum made the download counter rocketing to 70 downloads a day.
