Hi all,

sorry for a *very* off-topic question, but I couldn't find any wisdom about it
through Google...

I want to build my own map, using OSM data and contours from SRTM, for my
Garmin eTrex Legend HCx. This works perfectly using Groundtruth and mkgmap.
However, I would also like to have a bunch of gpx tracks I found on the
Internet *in the img file* (as the Legend can hold only 20 or so tracks).

My idea is to convert the gpx files to, say, roads or footpaths, if possible
with a different colour and a descriptive name, convert them to an img, and
glue the whole stuff together with mkgmap. The big question now is - is that
possible? How?

Thanks in advance,
Albrecht.
