Hi,

Since last week I was using qlandkarteGT release 0.17.x. My GPS is a Garmin
Venture HC with 23 MB internal memory (no SD-Slot!). I downloaded the
openmtbmap for germany and loaded it into qlandkarte sucessfully (with tbd
and mdr etc..). I used the map selection and uploaded the single tiles
(about 8 to 18 MB) to my device. This worked just fine.

Now the sources from Ubuntu 10.10 - Maverick Meerkat were updated to
qlandkarteGT Release 1.1.1. When I now try to upload a single tile to my
device, the upload fails because qlandkarte always tries to upload the
map-tile together with the mdr file (basemap?) which is about 90 MB large!
But I've got only 23 MB free space.

Is there a way to upload the maptiles without the basemap? For which reasons
I need the basemaps on my device? I never missed them, it worked just fine
without.

Greetings
Michael
