In short: yes.
Longitudes west of Greenwich have a negative sign same as latitudes on 
the southern hemisphere. That's the general convention/rule for at least 
WGS-84.

As far as I remember, QLandkarte GT is fairly tolerant concerning the 
way coordinates are written.
If you need a reference format, just set a waypoint (e.g. on the OSM 
tile map) and check how QLandkarte GT writes the coordinate.
