It is already there, and it seems to work:
I just compiled QLGT 1.5 on a Debian Sid system with gpsd version
3.6 installed and to my surprise, QLGT suddenly was able to display 
the gpsd data, contrary to the QLGT 1.5 installed from Debian's 
repository! I just cannot test if my self-compiled QLGT still 
displays data from a gpsd 2.95 server correctly.
