Hi Oliver, Thanks for the answer.
I installed GPSBabel, started QLGT and used Load Geodata from the File menu to load it. It seems then to be a Route and I can see it going to the Route tab. I could not find any way to export that again as GPX. Right clicking on the Route itself (in the panel at left) I saw the possibility to make a Track out of it. Which I did. It is now also in the Track tab. But now I am stuck in my "trial and error" session. Can you please give a hint to what to do now? Very obliged.
