Hi all,

here is a quick release to end the OSM misery. I am still not convinced that
transmitting the user-agent string does really help to prevent any misuse. And
I am still the opinion that a user-friendly service should request as few
information from the user as possible. Thus I do not agree on the enforcing of
senseless terms of use and consequently drop support for servers with such
bogus requirements.

I do not think that is too much of a loss, as there are enough alternatives to
use. And since Fabrice contributed the online map selection (File->Load Online
Map) there is easy access to a wide variety of map. The advantage: If one of
the URLs changes we just have to change the file on the server. Not the entire
application.

Let me use this as a chance to thank Martin, who is maintaining the online maps
right from the beginning. It's pure Sisyphos work as the URLs constantly become
outdated and he has to fix the files. You can help him by reporting broken URLs
or/and (much better) providing fixed files.

The other topic that boiled up was the automatic version query of QLandkarte. I
never really considered it as a problem as the request does not transmit any
other data than necessary to retrieve a HTML page. But sure, the user should be
asked upfront. Thus the new version will ask for permission once and never
again. After that it will either keep on querying for new versions or stop it.
Depending on your selection.

The rest are nifty little fixes. See the changelog at the bottom of this mail

Have fun with the new version

Oliver
