Ok, I see Qt5 is the motivation :) That is getting tricky. Free VS2010 never had debugging support. That's why everyone uses VS2008. On the other hand side you can debug software without a debugger by adding debug messages. And most bugs are debugged on Linux anyway.
Thus VC2010 might be the easier way than mingw. But surely it's worth trying. Didn't you want a challenge for your new computer? As there is no working link for a GDAL binary I would start with compiling GDAL and Proj4. The rest should be pretty straight forward. > Gesendet: Freitag, 28.
