I don't know the product, thus I can't tell you anything usefull. Waht do you have? A CD/DVD, a SD memory card? In waht kind of files the map is stored?

I really want to move away from the outdated Garmin MapSource and I much rather use QLandKarteGT than BaseCamp (furthermore, I am a Linux user).
Is there any way to convert the maps (which I already legally own) to be used with QLandKarte?
The Garmin directory structure is pretty crazy...
