I'm having a difficult time setting up a Garmin Etrex HCx wth Qlandkarte v1.7.5. Trying to use PL2303 software. Also, using Xubuntu 14.04LTS which I thought was suppose to have usb > serial support built in.
Is there a 'how to' or 'tutorial' on setting up a usb > serial port?
