I cloned qmapshack this morning and installed it manually on a gentoo box. Its not in portage yet. Anyway it compiles fine and runs well. However, this is on a laptop which scrolls by swiping with two fingers on the touchpad. When I do this the map zooms in and out even I am not moving my fingers. It is very sensitive. Much more than normal operations on this laptop. I think it is downloading all the tiles from all zoom levels. But maybe not. It seems to be quite a bit.
