Hi Davide, I did a test. The cache is working for me. Opening a WMS map I can see the tiles coming in one by one. Now I switch zoom level. Same situation. Switching back to the previous zoom level I can see the map instantly. Same for moving and zooming around.
Can you please make sure the setup is correct? Check if the cache path given in Services & Path really exists on your system. Check for typos. And make sure you have access rights to read and write the folder. To be sure delete everything below that folder and see if the cache fills up again.
