Hi, this is a usability and bug fix release.
I received some feedback from Twonav users, resulting in a few enhancements and fixes for those devices. It was also requested to extend the range selection to the profile plots. I think this is quite reasonable, as sometimes the section of a profile is much more of interest than the section on the map. For example if you want to measure the climbing speed, that is now included in the info box. Rainer provided a patch to switch between logarithmic and square scale. The logarithmic scale (that's the original one) is nicer to zoom on raster maps as it does not zoom that fast. However with the square scale you get better results with TMS/WTMS maps. They do not get as fuzzy as with the logarithmic scale. Make sure you views projection is World Mercator. View->Setup Map View->Projection & Datum As it turned out that creating own TMS description files by reading the documentation and tweaking the example is a task close to impossibility, I decided to provided a couple of online maps to be installed if the user is requesting it. See File -> Setup Map Path. Probably I will regret it with the next change of these servers, resulting in a flood of complains. And of course there is a flood of little fixes and improvements as usual. Have fun with the release Oliver V 1.2.0 * TwoNav: prepend HTML file for waypoint comment with QMS_CMT * Devices: Warn if there is a file/path with the same name, but different key * TwoNav: Link comment file to roadbook waypoints. * Track: Enhance range selection * Track: Add range selection to plots * Canvas: Add option to choose between logarithmic and square scale. * Add button to add a selection online maps * Fix: Some waypoints do not snap on track * [Issue #14] Issue a warning when closing an unsaved project ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BPM Camp - Free Virtual Workshop May 6th at 10am PDT/1PM EDT Develop your own process in accordance with the BPMN 2 standard Learn Process modeling best practices with Bonita BPM through live exercises http://www.bonitasoft.com/be-part-of-it/events/bpm-camp-virtual- event?utm_ source=Sourceforge_BPM_Camp_5_6_15&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=VA_SF _______________________________________________ Qlandkartegt-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/qlandkartegt-users
