I suppose the exe file would be a standard self-extracting archive to deploy a garmin map? Try opening and unpacking the exe with ark as a RAR archive. If that works, you have all the individual map components. You can then use gmaptool to create a gmapsupp.img (The combined image to use with qmapshack and also with the garmin device). > I borrowed a friend's windows computer and can see that the maps load > fine there.
