There is no difference in rendering the view to a screen or a printer. If your printer has a better resolution than your screen the rendered bitmap is just interpolated. It's more incredible that users do not understand what Open Source is about. Open Source is not getting everything for free and having a right to insolently demanding more. It's about getting a good code base to add the features you need yourself and to publish your add-ons in exchange for the work already done. So it's about exchanging favors.
