opened a terminal window
typed "sqlite3.exe myDB.db"
then "vacuum;"
and size is now 28 MB instead of 57 MB

As I am using a Box account to be synchronized between machines, the
smaller the database is, the faster the synchronisation is.
(I know the next step is to use mySQL instead... by the way do you know

with commit 1aa88bc0fd78f20c7907d7fc59f3ff15e507fcd0 the internal database
format changed significantly. QMapShack will migrate your database. After
the migration the database won't be compatible with older versions.
I strongly recommend to backup your database prior to migration!
Please test! I did my best to verify the change, but there is still a
chance for bugs. And the sooner we find them, the better.
