I did a search in the mailing list archive and now I understand the
meaning of the sentence from Helmut on october 12nd, 2015 :
"you have to compile and use routino latest from svn."
In the latest one from the svn, routino.h has this in addition :
" /*+ Contains the Routino version number. +*/
DLL_PUBLIC extern const char *Routino_Version;"

You're probably building with Routino 3.0 which doesn't include
Routino_Version yet, I've used the attached patch to skip its use in QMS
for the Debian package.
