So I tried to use th QMP version for OSX (capitan), using the dmag file provided on the wiki (QmapShack-MacOSX_1.5.1.tar.gz). The installation ran perfectly (French language) Following the wiki help, I started by adding maps as explain on the wiki. in the file menu I was unable to detect any setup map path in the file menu. However iused the "Help! I want... I was asked to open a diectory,and after a few minutes a lot of on line maps appeared in the choosen directory. I then added to this directory a gmapsupp.img file and at the next connexion to QMP it was available in the window map.
The I can learn how using QMP. I was a Qlandkarte user on linux. I can import my QLGT database in QMP. The problem was using the DEM file, as the file menu (setup...) is lacking i cant adde the " vrt" file, and in this case no Help menu !! Any ideas to solved that problem ? Many thanks to all.
