you don't need Hg or Python to compile QMS. Many users download the
source tar ball from the release folder. Additionally you can download a
source snapshot from Bitbucket. Especially in Windows software installs
it's own copy of Python locally. Thus none of these installations is
usable for anything else. Therefor installing Python and the Markdown
extension is for many users another task to cope with.

That is the reason why I would like to use the Wiki repository as a
sub-repository and add the creation of the HTML files as an option to
CMake. The resulting HTML files and images should be collected into a
folder of the source repository. By that they are part of the release
tar ball. I will update that folder prior to any release. Most likely
the option will be enabled on my system all the time. Thus docs will be
fairly up-to-date.

Anyway, it's a nice to have. Not really mandatory.
