Thank you for the reply Oliver. However, it does not help me. I have tried to use Qmapshack to make paper maps for voluntary rescue teams sent to operate on the search area. They can not use electrical devices at work.
They need to see the border or the route lines of their task on the map and also the natural features like roads, electrical lines etc. under the lines in order to be able to do their job. That is what I need opacity for. It was made possible in Qlandkarte and I believe that it is not a big issue to get it in Qmapshack too.
