Hi,

I think this is getting quite complicated. Christian and me had quite a
discussion if those three tool buttons for the limits and stuff are a
good idea. I wanted to give it a try. But even if it was my idea I am
not really convinced that it was a very good one. I think most users
ignore those buttons because they do not really understand what they are
good for. And if you use them you can get easily confused by the
consequences. I have to admit I hardly use them myself.

Adding similar buttons to activity coloring and adding a new aspect
(global or project based) would inevitably lead to the same options for
all other items. Just to be consistent. In other words a 4th button and
an additional space to store the setup (project).

I have a certain understanding that configuring the activity colors
globally is kind of nice to have. That is why I asked you to open an
issue. If you are lucky and I have some spare time the next time I have
tracks with many different activities I might implement that.
