Dear developers, I would like to request a feature to optionally disable the DEM plot in track profile view. For my usecases the DEM plot is disturbing this view if the recorded GPX file contains elevation data. For my foto shows I use to add maps (screenshots) of the day trips. I would like to add the elevation profile onto this map showing the daily ups and downs.
I have attached a screenshot depicting the current situation. The red wobbling DEM curve lays above the blue recorded GPX data. I would like to optionally get rid of this red curve. May be this could be added to the context menu ([ ] Show DEM plot, [ ] Show GPX plot, both enabled by default). The attached graphics, which is based on a mountainbike tour I did last year in Peru, shows also an other issue (DEM wobbling) which is related to unsufficient DEM resolution. It is obvious the real elevation is much smoother than DEM sourced elevation. I will address a separate feature request linked to this phenomenon later.
