Hi all
Including curl and mbtiles support in the installer is a good new .
Unfortunately using this last version as it comes with the windows installer I
can't see MBTILES maps yet, and the VRT assistant (thus gdal ) doesnt
recognize the MBTiles format.
May be I am missing something?
I have tested in several installations (win 8, 10) on different pcs and in all
of them with the same result
Gdal documentation says that it needs OGR SQLite driver.

I have been trying to guess what is missing, but I can not get it.
For now we can add MBTiles support following this workaround described in the
wiki
https://bitbucket.org/maproom/qmapshack/wiki/DocMapsTipsRasterDEM#markdown-header-ecw-mbtiles-and-mrsid-maps
but it is a bit tricky and it should be repeated every time you update QMS
with the windows installer.
So if this get solved, updating will be easier for users and the part of the
workaround concerning MBTiles and Curl support could be dropped :-)

I have packed them in a zip file including a .vrt file and a .gpx file with a

in the meanwhile I uploaded a new Windows installer for version 1.11.1. It's
new because it contains a new GDAL version with the CURL and SQL libraries
included. By that all W... formats (WCS, WMTS...) supported by GDAL should work
without further actions necessary. Same applies to MBTiles.
There is still no support for ECW because of their license.
As with every change fixing old problems it's possible to have introduced new
ones. Of course we have tested the stuff on several systems, but the varieties
of Windows configurations and setups proved to be a challenge in the past. Thus
if you experience problems especially with the map/dem definitions shipped with
QMapShack please report. They are supposed to work out-of-the box.
