Hello,

when I want to delete an item saved in my database, I currently do the
following:

(1) I select the database folder the item is in so that I see it in the
workspace, and select the folder in the workspace so that the according
item get visible in the map.

(2) I delete the item in the map.

(3) It's now deleted from the workspace, but not from the database.

(4) So I have to look in the database for an item that has become
unselected.

(5) And delete it there a second time to remove it from the database as
well.

My question: is there really no better way? If my project is large,
having to do (4) manually is annoying. When I forget (5) (this happens
from time to time) the item will magically reappear the next time I
select the project in the database.

So do I use a wrong approach? How is deletion intended to be done? Why
is it more complicated than adding an item where I can just say "save"
from the workspace?

Regards and TIA,

Michael.
