Hi, right the sub-points are not saved for routes. As said GPX does not offer a good concept for routes and most devices can't cope with many route points. Funny enough the concept of segments as defined for tracks would be much more usable and suitable for routes.
Anyways, so far the topic routes pops up occasionally. Usual it's a request to provide a solution for a very special use-case that no one else is interested in. So no one else was interested to spend the effort and the requesters did not either. That's the situation. I can just encourage everyone who wants routes desperately to write a ticket sketching the concept in mind for discussion and start coding. Oliver > Gesendet: Montag, 24.
