It works if virtual uid/gid is implemented. If the mail user has no
permission to create subdirectory in /mail, this would not work. As shown in
the following case:

1) if the mail user's uid is not qmaill or gid is not qmail, the
subdirectory cannot be created in mail.
2) the mail directory is only 775 and not 777.
It worked for us in recent tests. This is done by assigning ldapuid=9999 and
ldapgid=8888 in /var/qmail/control and removing qmailUID and qmailGID from
LDAP entries. The /mail directory is updated by chown -R 9999:8888 /mail.
