Hi Abe,
thanks for sending your archive to me.
But when I tried to concatenate my current mailbox and yours, and
then ran the archiver utility from mailman, it ran out of memory
quite heavily, on some message in June 2001.
I have no clue as to what went wrong, but apparently either the
mailbox is corrupt or mailman does something wrong.
So I restored the archive without your additions.
Anyway, I still rather have the really complete archives; the ones
from Andre Opperman, maintainer of the list. That way, we can be sure
that everything is there and that there are no other (maybe private)
messages littering the archive. I think it s*** to have an incomplete
and polluted digital archive...
So, the request is still open: Does someone have the *entire* list
archive, either in mbox or in maildir format ?
I'd prefer to download it rather than have it clutter my mail, if
possible.
Thanks for all those who let me know that they are glad to have an
archive online. I use it myself rather frequently, too.
Much regards,
Ace Suares
