Not to be arguing with you, Henning, but given that I can provide the 
webmail interface as a workaround for any possible @ char MUA problems, I 
think it is kinder to my users if I make the effort to realize the 
difference between <user>@<domain> uid and <domain>-<user> mailmessagestore, 
rather than ask my users to remember that their email address is 
<user>@<domain>, and their login is <domain>-<user>.
