I don't think the indexing directives are much different than 1.x I
use:
index uid eq
index uidNumber eq
index mail eq
index mailalternateaddress eq
index ipHostNumber eq
index cn eq
index objectclass eq
Some of those attributes are indexed for different purposes so you
probably won't need all of them. Also check
http://www.OpenLDAP.org/devel/admin/
