LDAP Control Patch

Does anyone know if there is a ldap-control patch for 20010802 yet. I
tried searching the archives and got an error. I looked at my own
archives and saw that all Henning Brauer had replied was "no."

And as a related second question what are the pros/cons of using the
ldap-control patch as compared to a rsync solution?
