why..?

with this behaviour i can't stop my users from sending mails to spec. 
addresses, i just can "lock" a local box (or better: address). it 
doesn't make much sense to me to deny delivery to a local address this 
way, cause there are various other ways to do this with ldap.. this 
makes this option obsolete, i think..
am i missing something..?
