WIth the domain in rcpthosts and locals it would bounce with "no such user" later unless you take some other actions. And these are the ones beeing important for the question wether accepting and locally (and _only_ locally) delivering mails based on an MX poiting to you is insecure and insane or just a bad idea ;-). To be honest, I fail to see why they just can't nottify you in an automated way about new domains.
