We had a few e-mail bombs not too long ago so I implemented tarpitting on our servers (which I should have done long ago). I believe we allow 20 RCPT TOs before we tarpit - 10 seconds between subsequent RCPT TOs. So far so good.
Look in QLAPINSTALL at tarpitcount and tarpitdelay. I think this may help you.
