I have a production qmail ldap system running: qmail-ldap-1.03-20030801a
and I have built a replacement system (on a new server) running: qmail-ldap-1.03-20040101 My question is the following. I have a single ldap server and would rather not have to build a new ldap server -- what do I need to change in the user accounts in order to migrate them from the old schema to the new ones -- I was planning just to write a perl script to change the entries that conflict. Also if I drop the new schema into qmail ldap with the existing user accounts, will that work at least temporarily, I am guessing probably not. But I am trying to find a way I can do a seamless upgrade, with doing as much work as I can in advance of the actual deployment day.
