Greetings, This is how I have been setting up forwards:
# [EMAIL PROTECTED], lh.net, mail, accounts, lh, net dn: [EMAIL PROTECTED],ou=lh.net,ou=mail,ou=accounts,dc=lh,dc=net accountStatus: active cn: [EMAIL PROTECTED] objectClass: top objectClass: person objectClass: qmailUser qmailDotMode: both sn: Brendon Colby deliveryMode: nolocal mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] uid: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailForwardingAddress: [EMAIL PROTECTED] qmail-ldaplookup returns: [EMAIL PROTECTED],ou=lh.net,ou=mail,ou=accounts,dc=lh,dc=net ------------------------------------------------------- objectClass: top objectClass: person objectClass: qmailUser mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] uid: [EMAIL PROTECTED] accountStatus: active mailHost: undefined forward only delivery via alias user alias user: alias alias user uid: 64010 alias user gid: 65534 alias user home: /var/qmail/alias alias user aliasempty: |echo "Unable to deliver mail: account incorrectly configured. (#5.3.5)"; exit 100 mailForwardingAddress: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Two things. First of all, it seems to return the above in an infinite loop. The results are printed over and over again. Also, I know that the aliasempty error is because I have no homeDirectory or mailMessageStore defined for that record. The forward works fine, just that qmail-ldaplookup returns the above error. Is there any reason to put in a dummy mailMessageStore field? Thanks. -- Brendon Colby Unix Systems Administrator Lighthouse Communications
