Currently there is no qmail-group documentation.
The moderation works in a very simple way:
1) mail comes to the mail-group
2) is packed into a mime message and sent to the moderators
3.1) if a moderator replies to that request the mail is sent to the list
3.2) if no moderator replies to that request after a week the mail is
silently dropped.
It is possible to directly write to the sender because the message is mime
attached. My mailer e.g. has the possibility to select that message and
reply from there.
Probably it would make sense to reduce the timeout two 2-3 days and return
a error message instead of just dropping to old mails.
I will add this to my todo list that is getting longer and longer and...
