-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
Yesterday I tried to setup qmail-ldap and I succeed. But I'm still wondering how to setup SMTP-AUTH. Because when I test my new box from telnet, there is no AUTH after I sent the EHLO command. Here is the output: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~> telnet 192.168.0.100 25 Trying 192.168.0.100 ... Connected to 192.168.0.100. Escape character is '^]'. 220 mail.domain.com ESMTP ehlo user 250-mail.domain.com 250-PIPELINING 250-SIZE 0 250-DATAZ 250-STARTTLS 250 8BITMIME It should be like this isn't ? (CMIIW) 220 mail.example.tld ESMTP EHLO example.tld 250-mail.example.tld 250-PIPELINING 250-SIZE 0 250-DATAZ 250-STARTTLS 250-AUTH LOGIN PLAIN 250 8BITMIME So I tried to patch it with SMTP-AUTH patch from http://www.lifewithqmail.org/ldap/patches/smtp-auth/ And here the output: zeus:/home/romie/test/qmail-1.03 # patch < ../smtp-auth-20030801.patch patching file Makefile Hunk #1 succeeded at 21 with fuzz 2 (offset 2 lines).
