Redhat 9 pop3d failure....

Hello i seem to have the following error after compiling
qmail-1.03 + qmail-ldap-1.03-20040401.patch.
 
My OS is default RH 9.
 
 auth_pop: ../../../libraries/liblber/sockbuf.c:635: sb_rdahead_read: Assertion `p->buf_size > 0' failed.
 
Apr 15 03:01:21 qmail auth_pop: unable to dlopen /usr/lib/sasl/libdigestmd5.so: libdes425.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
 
My OpenLdap is the one shipping with RH9.

Additionally :

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ]#

Please advise me how to go through this.. its becoming a headache.
