Well ladies and gents I know its a weekend and I really hate to bother
you but I really need to get past this if possible..

Been scanning the archive and came up with this
http://www.ornl.gov/lists/mailing-lists/qmail/2001/01/msg00415.html
.. in short ..

please use the qmail-ldap mailing list for qmail-ldap related stuff

and

Life With qmail-ldap
http://www.lifewithqmail.org/ldap/#Installation

have not been able to find any thing that points me in the right direction

RedHat ES3
openldap-2.1.22-8
courier-imap-3.0.3.20040411-1.3ES

qmail-1.03.tar.gz 215.5KB 2003-10-28

I have a clean/new qmal-1.03 directory tree

My guess is I'm missing a patch but which one?

[EMAIL PROTECTED] patch -p1 < qmail-ldap-1.03-20010101.patch

above works ..

[EMAIL PROTECTED] qmail-1.03]# patch -p1 < qmail-ldap-1.03-20040301a- controls20040413.patch
can't find file to patch at input line 4
Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|diff -urN build-tree.old/qmail-1.03/Makefile build-tree/qmail- 1.03/Makefile

skip patch? [y]

[EMAIL PROTECTED] / -name auth_smtp.c
there is no auth_smtp.c

will it break if I skip? Are there others?

Any help would really be appreciated.
Thank you..
