This is probably pbscheck that is compalining. You can turn it of by
setting NOPBS to some value in /var/qmail/boot/qmail-smtpd/env

Hmm. If qmail-ldaplookup works the delivery should work too. At least this
error should not appear. With this little information it is not possible
to narrow down the cause.
