This seems to be a common occurrence (and, absolutely, not the fault of qmail-ldap). Could qmail-ldap check, as an option, the date of the source file and compare it to the date of the .cdb file for the common ones, e.g. smtproutes? If the .cdb date is older then a warning could be printed. Again, I realize this is not qmail-ldap's problem, it would just be nice if it warned the user for the common cases. Ted
