thanks for the hint. But still having problems:
After patching the 20040701 patched sources, installing and "make cert", copying ~control/cert-pem to ~control/smtpcert, chown qmaild:qmail and chmod 640, I only get a
"454 TLS not available: missing RSA private key (#4.3.0)" when I do a "starttls".
Same setup (means ~control) works fine with 20040401 patch...
Any other ideas ?

I've found the following issue, perhaps anybody can help:
With qmail-ldap patch 20040401 starttls works fine - but with qmail-ldap 20040701 I only get "connection closed by foreign host" as response to the "starttls" command. Tested on the same machine.
I use openssl 0.9.7d .
