I've been trying to get SquirrelMail to pass the user and password to LDAP thru Courier-imap and can't seem to get any log data to trouble shoot with.
Have /etc/syslog.conf # Save LDAP events local4.* /var/log/ldap
slapd.conf loglevel -1
Would expect a sucessful ldapsearch and qmail-ldaplookup to log something. All I get in log/ldap is stop and start info.
Is courier-imap doing the PAM thing instead of LDAP?
This is being logged in maillog I guess from imapd Oct 5 21:35:24 register imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1] Oct 5 21:35:29 register imapd: LOGIN FAILED, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1] Oct 5 21:35:29 register imapd: Disconnected, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1] after trying a login.
Google search has lots of hits on this but very few solutions. They didn't work.
How can I get some slapd output? Thanks in advance.
