loglevel in pop3

How can I enable the LOGLEVEL in POP3 to see the login of users in log 
files?

I compiled qmail-ldap with "DEBUG=-DDEBUG" and setup "LOGLEVEL=3" in 
different places (/service/pop3d/env/LOGLEVEL, 
/service/pop3d/tcp,/service/pop3d/log/env/LOGLEVEL), but the 
log(/service/pop3d/log/main/current) doesn�t dislpay additional 
info(like username).

Opposite to it, LOGLEVEL definition did work for SMTP, but not for POP.
Any idea about how to fix it?
