Maildrop does bounces the messages once the users mailbox is full by
referencing the maildirsize file in the maildir 

the command i gave below gives a warning message to the user reading
from the quotawarn file when the users mailbox reaches 90% of its limit

You can run maildrop with the maildrop -w 90 command where 90 is the

Thanks, this makes sense the only problem that I can foresee is how
will 
maildrop deal with will messages that will exceed the quota. EG how
